The Quantum Level One Training Class is targeted to Engineers who will be responsible for the deployment and operations of the Quantum Base Station. This class will provide both instructor lead training and hands on lab exercises.
This two day class is designed to provide the student with the fundamental knowledge of the Quantum WiMAX Base Station. Students will learn how the components interconnect and function in order to provide different Quality of Service to end customers. The students will use the Quantum Web and CLI interface to configure all components of the PureWave Base Station.
Upon completion the student will be certified to install and commission the Quantum Base Station, available Customer Premises Equipment and provision services.
This course will enable students to:
- Identify the features and benefits of the Quantum WiMAX Base Station
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Quantum system architecture
- Identify and define the different types and components of the Quantum Base Station
- Understand the different applications and services of the Quantum Base Station
- Understand the Base Station physical configuration
- Install the Quantum 6600 or 2200 Base Station
- Install and align the available Customer Premises Equipment
- Troubleshoot an Installation
- Provision a CPE using different Client Profiles
- Understand the Base Station Web GUI and CLI
- Upgrade Software on Quantum Base Stations
- Understand the Quantum IP Data functionality and services.
Training Class Details
- Training classes are between 6-8 students
- Refreshments and Lunch will be provided when course is held at PureWave HQ
- All Training Materials and Documentation provided will be provided on CD
PLEASE NOTE: Students should have a solid understanding of TCP/IP and RF fundamentals prior to attending training.
